Ever since I saw Mixamajig, I was completely stunned: The design was completely terrible compared to before, they ruined the concept of mixing and maxing through the mundo mixes and that miximum max thing, and heck, they had a bit of dirty humor this is something I find pretty rare in Mixels.  What do you guys think?  Is this going to be the same in the next special we see?

      Loading editor
    • What? Mixels is finally growing where it should have been. Sure, there were some errors throughout the special since the animators weren't as experienced, but half-hours is where Mixels has needed to be! While the shorts lived off (great) comedy, I felt that the world was really interesting, and I'd have loved to see and know more.

Besides, Mixels has always been pulled out of the lineup and considered some weird third-party series. If it blended in to the other series, it'd actually be a good thing, CN would treat it up to them!

        Loading editor
    • The way how we see it all works out is just that, how you yourself see it.

Personally, I didn't like Mixamajig that much, but in many ways, Mixels has improved. In ways you can and can't see it. If you see it as deteoriating, then that's how you see it. If you see it as improving, that's also how you see it.

To sum that up, basically we see everything grow, deteoriate, and improve in different ways.

    • Mixels is changing, but I don't think it's deteriorating. I think season 2 was like a transition between the shorts and whatever's coming up in Mixopolis. The Mixels universe is expanding (including new types of Mixing), and QFM was supposed to be like a culmination point to end what the shorts started and begin the new version of the show. At first, I ddn't like QFM either, but I think it's started to grow on me after I realized that.

    • The Mixels didn't abandon their places, nor did King Nixel destroy them. He just lured them into Nixel Land. They were more than capable of going back. Besides, they were merely visitors of Mixopolis.

        Loading editor
    • ^We don't know that, considering all of the S7 locations are firmly planted in Mixopolis.

        Loading editor
    • I think the series 7 locations are there because they have designs that would be typical for a city such as Mixopolis. The S1-6 Mixels on the other hand do not. It's just a theory.

        Loading editor
    • Well, the Tuxedo Club and Lava Lounge stuff sort of points fingers towards them being brought into Mixopolis.

        Loading editor
    • That is true. But my guess is that they were made in honor of the tribes they were based on or something like that. It could be a place for those types of Mixels to hang out. Like I said, this is all just a theory.

    • I don't think it's dying but I do think it has lost the charm it had when it was just shorts. That's not necessarily bad but it does make it feel like something is missing. And the only thing I have against the half hour episodes is the fact that they focus solely on the Mixels with all the other Mixels practically non existent. Well that and the fact that Cartoon Network is only going to make one half hour episode everytime a new series is released, which is stupid.

I know what's missing, UR FACE! Jk. Anyway, maybe they could make something like "muncho mart" for the munchos to hang out? Or maybe tung twisters for the lixers? Just my horrible ideas

I LOVED QFM, but yeah. Mixels is just growing and growing. Nothing was "ruined" - it's just changing. And these changes are for the better! But yeah, Volectro, it's a bit unfair that previous series' Mixels don't get as much screen time in the specials.

Also, yeah why did it get turned into half hours when series 3 released?! I would have loved to see series 3 shorts! They tried to make up for it with taking parts of specials and calling them shorts, but it still sucks! They could run those on tv and then show more in the specials! Seriously! But maybe they will finally come to their senses and do that for series 8! And they skipped over series 5! They could have made shorts for them!!! Somebody should send Cartoon Network a message saying to wake up.

    • I believe that QFM was like a finale for the old show and the ultimate showdown, destruction of the Mixel lands, and Weldos' reveal of Mixopolis was like a culmination point. I think we're having a complete character overhaul and we're not going to see anymore of Series 1 to 6. Mixopolis is basically the equivalent of Star Wars episode 7 to the original trilogy.

        Loading editor
    • Which of course makes Series 1 to 3 the prequels. How do you feel about the shorts now?

    • No, I think the Weldos had been working on Mixopolis while the events of QFM were happening, but it was protected from the destruction of the rest of Mixel Land somehow. Or maybe just that part was destroyed? I don't know. For some reason these endings always make no sense and contradict everything else.

    • They weren't even in Mixtopia/Mixelland anymore. The keyhole portal sent them to what could have either been simply another planet, or another dimension, and then they were left in a white void that the Weldos appeared to have access to.

The white void appeared to have been the Weldos' sandbox or construction site, as they are a "hidden workforce", and they appeared to have had some strange portal of their own like the keyhole portal, but in a pothole form. The Weldos likely still have their portal access to Weldo Land in Mixtopia, but have left the land to live in Mixopolis with all of their Mixel friends.

No, that's just a theory. A headcanon is an idea or concept you think of as canon, but is not in the actual canon itself.

Mixels are gender-neutral so it doesn't really matter what you call them. In fact, I can imagine quite a few other Mixels as females with male voice actors.
      FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT >_<

      I agree

But WHEN did they have adult humor!? I dont remeber
      Since Mixamajig.

I actually agree with Coco. I don't see anything related to Adult Humor. AND I REMEMBER EVERY SINGLE EPISODE (except M3)
Well there was that part in Mixamajig where King Nixel was hit in the crotch.

That's not adult humor. That's just him being hit in the crotch. Alot of kids shows do that for Slapstick humor. Not adult humor.

That's not adult humor. That's slapstick humor. The Max hit him in the crotch because it hurts when someone hits you there. Not because of adult humor.

    • It was just a guess

    • Okay I might as well be the to say it, in the message where Mixels were said to be genderless/sexless/whatever you want to go with, the guy literally said it was his opinion which means it wasn't an established fact. And the recently proven fact that Mixels have parents seems to contradict it anyway so you see where I'm going with this.

Ya I do hate the idea of 3 Mixels mixing. In the beginning of Mixels they even told us that ONLY 2 Mixels can mix the only time it can be 3 is if there from the same tribe and Max.but now we have 3 different tribes mixing.
