Skrubz is a Medix Mixel.

Description[]

Personality[]

A rolling emergency room medical kit, this Mixel is a key member of the Medix team. With an operating theater light and heart-starting defibrillator arms, Skrubz has the equipment to jolt any poorly Mixel back to health. There’s just one slight problem—performing medical procedures make squeamish Skrubz feel sick!

Physical Appearance[]

Skrubz is mostly white in color. He has a chair-like shape with four teeth in each jaw. His mouth is covered with a glass panel. His arms are mint with white pincer hands, each holding a defibrillation paddle. His eye is located on a long and grey neck-like piece, covered by an azure plate with four yellow lights surrounding it where its grey stem is on top of his upper jaw. He is on a set of four small, grey wheels.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Little is known about Skrubz' past.

First adventures[]

He and his brothers performed a regular dental checkup on Sharx. They later angrily confronted some Nixels that were lying about their findings about them. ("Nixels' New Adventure!")

During an attempt of the Pyrratz to try and rob the Mixopolis Bank, he and his brothers hid in the vault to scare the pirates off. ("Attempted Bank Robbery")

He created a Mix out of Splasho and Lewt's parts. ("Strange Medix Mixels experiment creates new Mixels Max")

He and his brothers were once able to successfully do a medical procedure on an apple. ("Doctors Give Apple Total Makeover")

Further adventures[]

Skrubz watched as an injured Nixel fled Mixopolis General Hospital as a result of Surgeo's horns and syringe. ("Nixel With Broken Leg Flees Hospital")

At Mixopolis General Hospital and with help from Skrubz, Surgeo performed a surgery on Krog with an unknown Lixer's head; Mixing them together.

Later on, he also assisted Tuth in a dental check-up. ("Nixel, Nixel, Go Away")

Set Information[]

Skrubz was released as part of the Series 8 Mixels sets in the June 2016 product wave. His set number is 41570 and contains 68 pieces.

The set includes a Nixel with a broken leg and sad expression.

41570 Skrubz can be combined with 41569 Surgeo and 41571 Tuth to create the Medix Max.

Trivia[]

  • His iris, of his eye, is large, similar to Scorpi's in cartoon form, but medium-sized in the LEGO model.
  • His wheels are black in the LEGO model, but grey in animated form.
  • The handles on his defibrillation pads are white in the LEGO model, but grey in cartoon form.
  • As shown in Nixel, Nixel, Go Away, there's more than one Skrubz, however, this may have been due to a lack of available models for the scene.
  • Despite having the most screentime of the Medix, he does not have any lines.

Name and basis[]

Skrubz' name is a misspelling of "scrubs".

Skrubz appears to resemble hospital lights, and a chair for defibrillation.

Voice[]

In the TV series, and where sound clips are used, Skrubz' voice is unknown.

Early development[]

Skrubz was seen being designed by Miranda Dressler in the documentary series The Wonderful World of Mixels in December 2015.

Reveals[]

On October 11, 2015, official images of the sets of Skrubz and the rest of Series 7 and 8 were leaked in LEGO's online server.[1]

On December 20, 2015, Skrubz appeared in artwork with the rest of Series 8 in a Russian consumer catalog.[2]

Skrubz reappeared with the rest of Series 7 through 9 at Toy Fairs in late January and early February 2016.[3][4]

Content[]

Skrubz debuted in the TV series on October 1, 2016 in Nixel, Nixel, Go Away, while his LEGO set officially became available on June 1st with the rest of Series 8.
