The Mixels Main Title, also known as The Mixels Intro,[1] is a song that appears in many promotional materials for Mixels, and is the official theme song.
Loosely based off of season one's theme music, it is composed by Kiara Geller, who produced the score for the second season.
Trivia[]
- This intro breaks the previous intro's tradition of adding in new tribes to the sequence with every wave by instead only showing Mixels from the dedicated waves for each special, with different, unique footage used in each one.
- Each episode also contains its own variation of the music:
- Mixel Moon Madness uses the regular intro, but with the opening cue cut out. (The intro used in the Japanese dub of the shorts leaves the opening cue in, but choppily cuts off part of the ending cue.)
- A Quest for the Lost Mixamajig uses the uncut version of the regular intro.
- Every Knight Has Its Day replaces most of the opening cues with a marching band tune.
- Nixel, Nixel, Go Away replaces half of the song with an adventurous tune and adds a heavy drumbeat to the end.
- Each episode also contains its own variation of the music:
- Kiara Geller recorded 17 different versions of the main title.
- All of the footage for season two's main titles takes place in the White Space and every other intro, exclusing Mixel Moon Madness', involves the introduced Mixels chasing after sentient Cubits.
