Yeah, that's a good idea. I always wished they would do that too. If they do that, Mixels may come on more like the other CN shows that are 8 minutes (or however long), because I've NEVER seen Mixels come on. I've only seen it on On Demand.
The only reason they have the specials is so they can broadcast them on TV to get a bigger following. Mixels already has a pretty big following, so why can't they just put shorts on the internet or On Demand like they did with Mighty Magiswords or the Moon Madness shorts? Then once in a while they can have specials as well, like QFM (But not Moon Madness! They should have just kept that as shorts!) I want to have my cake and eat it too!
They need to do the episodes LONGER. Like seriously, 2 mins may not be enough. When a short ends, I was suspencely like 'And then...? That's it??? What's gonna happen next???'. I wish their episodes were longer TT ~ TT
How about the specials be two-parters? 30 min long per prat. Then, we would get alot of character development, and some action too.
It would be like watching a mini-movie.

thats why Cartoon Network made the show 22 mins runtime

Wasn't this ninth wave page here a preparation for the next special, maybe just in case BOTH S8/S9 aired in a special together?

Yeah, Mixels is supposed to be fast-paced so that it squeezes what would normally be an 11- minute episode down to the space of 1-3 minutes. By that analogy, a minisode would be like the equivalent of a half-hour special, and Quest For Mixamajig would be like a movie. Of course, that was true until EKHID came along and messed it up.
In QFM's defence, it was a great episode. With these longer, more complicated plotlines, it's harder for individual characters to each contribute equally to the story like with the shorts (otherwise every character would be like Snoof or Krog) and so some are minor characters. QFM was also meant to focus more on the tribes and like their general role in the world of Mixels rather than the individuals.
Also, I'm pretty sure Timothy Barnes said that there would be one special for each series from this point forward, so we'll probably be getting 2 seperate episodes in May/June and September/October rather than what happened with QFM. And I HOPE that we'll be seeing more of the MCPD and Mixies in those.

Yeah, & speaking of QFM Wuzzo needs a bigger role
